Restore and Rewild
An epic and unique adventure reconnecting with nature and your inner resilience in breathtaking southeast Alaska
July 7 - 12, 2025
Reconnect with joy and resilience
If you’re craving some much needed time away from the every day pace of productivity and want to reconnect with playfulness and joy, this experience might be exactly what you’re looking for. We’ll spend time doing slow flow Forrest yoga practices, meditating, eating delicious local food, exploring the natural beauty around us, and you’ll leave with tools and resources for reducing your daily stress and supporting your ability to care for yourself when navigating challenge and change.
A secluded and special place
There are only a couple ways to reach the remote Gull Cove Lodge: 1) by sea plane from Juneau, AL (flown by a trusted local family business, Ward Air) for the 46 minute flight over the Tongass National Forest, the nation’s largest national forest surrounding the famous Inside Passage or 2) by taxi from Gustavus, AL to Glacier Bay National Park where you’ll take a 45 minute boat ride. This is a secluded and wild place that no one who visits Alaska on a cruise will ever get to see!
Gull Cove Lodge is rustic luxury; a fishing lodge that features three ocean front cabins and two additional cozy bedrooms in the main house. Spectacular views from the property look over at the remote Glacier Bay National Park often include humpback whales, otters, seals and bald eagles. Delicious meals are created from the garden and freshly caught bounty from the ocean (you might even enjoy a shrimp you harvested yourself that day!)
Stay to explore Juneau
After the retreat, stay in the area to explore all that Alaska’s capital city has to offer. Juneau is a quaint and richly historic city surrounded by majestic mountains, woods and water. Here, locals spend free time walking the area’s bountiful trails, taking in the sunrises on Douglas Island’s beach, or the sunsets at Auke Bay, not to mention enjoying our local Mendenhall Glacier complete with a dramatic waterfall.
